Camp Volunteers

Volunteering with Camp Civitan does more than give community service hours. When you give your time to children and adults with developmental disabilities you will have an experience like no other.

Besides spending a week in the cool mountain town of Williams, Arizona during the summer, you will share your talents and skills, learn activity planning, develop leadership skills and make life-long memories and friends.

Volunteers enjoy the full Camp Civitan experience: Day trips to lakes and attractions, visit Bearizona, sport activities, camp songs, camp fires and more! You will spend a full week at camp, which includes food and dorm accommodations. Some of your assignments will include: kitchen duty, organizing sporting activities, assisting camp staff with members, and have a great time!

As a Camp Civitan volunteer, you will receive a food-handlers card, CPR/FA certification and Article 9 Training at no cost to you. In addition, being a volunteer at one of the top-rated summer camps for children and adults with developmental disabilities, you are adding to your college and career resume as a high achiever.

Volunteer at Camp Civitan! (Youth ages 13-17) Volunteers are needed throughout the summer months at Camp Civitan. At camp, volunteers are asked to interact with and befriend our campers and set a positive example for our campers.
