Our Mission

Civitan Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that was established in 1968 in Williams, Arizona. Civitan strives to deliver tailored programs and services to meet the ever-changing needs of the children and adults we serve with developmental disabilities.

Annually, Civitan serves over 750 families throughout Arizona while providing programs that are designed to enhance and enrich the lives of these special individuals. We continue to expand our services to also include outreach, education and family support. We are dedicated to building a stronger community for those with developmental disabilities through our hard work, endless passion, and the generous support of our community.

We have an upstanding reputation for providing safe, enriching, high quality programs that focus on education, nutrition & health, life skills, socialization, job training and much needed respite for families and caregivers.

  • Volunteers logged approximately 12,000 hours serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • DES/DDD (Department of Developmental Disabilities) Qualified Vendor.
  • Provides HAH, ANC and RSP staffing and services.
  • Partners with families of adults and children with disabilities to attain personalized and need-based services.
  • Partners with Arizona Department of Education’s Summer Food Service Program.
  • Provides SNAP program for qualified participants.
  • Serves over 25,000 meals each year to Title I youth.
